The Noosa International Food and Wine Festival  commences from tomorrow until Sunday with a stella line up ready showcase why they are the leaders of the culinary world.   We have great talent to support story coverage including Colin Fassnidge (MKR) here on Friday and Saturday along with the winners of MKR Steph and Dan cooking dinner on Noosa's Main Beach (literally). Friday will also see the return to the kitchen of Matt Golinski supported by fellow Qld chefs. Matt Preston, Matt Moran, Poh Ling Yeow, John Eales, Tim Horan are just a few additional names supporting the Festivals tenth anniversary with ticket sales going through the roof. 

16th May - Thursday 
Arrival of the Word's Best Restaurant Chefs – (announced this week at the S. Pellegrino  Worlds Best Restaurant Chefs Awards in London  Including:
Yoshihiro Narisawa (NARISAWA) with a ranking of no. 20 
Ben Shewry of Attica in Melbourne -  Best Restaurant in Australasia at no. 21.

Gala Opening Edible Music – World First
A world first where the Qld Virtuosi Orchestra will be conducted by Guy Noble with Jane Rutter, Taryn Fiebig, Ian Cooper and Virgilio Marino for an tribute to Pavarotti and supported by ten of the Worlds Best Restaurant chefs where your eyes, ears and nose all combine to see and hear the amazing music of some of Australia's best classic performers with the world's best chefs (including the recently voted Australia's best Restaurant, Ben Shewry) cooking to the music whilst the audience taste the product being chopped, whisked and blended to the backdrop of the performers.  Over 100 people on stage for this amazing event – including an amazing finale

Ruby Westpac Womens Luncheon – 12 non – 3pm.
 Hosted by Westpac’s Women’s networking forum – The Ruby Connection, panelists included; Director of Women’s Markets at Westpac, Larke Riemer, CEO of Carnival Australia Anne Sherry, TV Presenter Gorgi Coghlan and Chef Alla Wolf Tasker. Over lunch, the topic of networking (both in the literal and digital sense) will consumed much of the conversation. A particular point of interest was the possibilities social media presents for women to establish lasting connections and learn from each other.

17th May – Friday
11.30am – 2.30pm
Top Taste of Queensland Lunch – For the very first time since his accident, Matt Golinski supported by Alastair Mcleod, Ryan Squires and Pablo Tordesillas make the most of top Queensland produce for a formidable lunch.  Great opportunity to interview Matt on his passion for cooking, Qld produce and what's on the menu for the future.

NIFWF – Tenth Anniversary – Know well acknowledged as the best Food, Wine and Lifestyle event in the Country the event will host its tenth anniversary with a spectacular line up of chefs, winemakers and celebrities all coming together to be part of a global celebration.  The event boasts ten of the World Best Restaurant Chefs and celebrity chefs that include Matt Moran, Poh Ling Yeow, Matt Preston, Adriano Zumba, Christing Mansfield, The World's Champion Bar Tender – Tim Philips. World Young Chef of the Year – Richard Ousby, Bruce Tyrell, Tetsuya Wakuda, Ben Shewry, Peter Gilmore to name a few. Its the only event where the Worlds best are put to the test and appear at dinners, cooking demonstrations and talks and the audience can intermingle with them throughout the festival.

World Class Cocktail Competition on Noosa Main Beach - 1pm–4pm
Come and see the Australian division of the World Class bartender competition as the search for the next world bartender intensifies on Noosa Main Beach. 
An afternoon of cocktail tastings, served with canapés and mixing with the worlds best mixologists.

Saturday 18 May
Culinary Exhibition – Open from 9.00am the culinary exhibition showcases the finalists and winners of the delicious magazine – produce awards and international producers show and offer tastes of their products.  Also on display are the latest cooking trends, gadgets and appliances to get you busy in the kitchen.
Appearances by John Eales and Tim Horan from 11.00am on Saturday at the Westpac Pavillion.

Celebrity Chef cooking demonstration
See the masters of the culinary world hard at work, ready to ask questions and share their secrets on stage. Joining the Worlds best restaurant chefs will also be
Matt Moran, David Pugh, Phillip Johnson, Poh Ling Yeow to name a few – see program for full details

Village Wine Marquee
Bubbles, Chardonnay, Reds, Sweet things and Cocktain making are all on the menu with the greats of the winemaking world

Wine and Beer Kiosk
Showcased at the Festival is over 60 wines and boutique beers from aournd Australia to sample and buy. Drop in to the beautiful Asahi beer garden for a time out of festival activities.

Food Critics Diner Style cooking competition – 11.30am - 3pm
see some of Australia's best know critics including Matt Preston get put under the pump when the audience votes on who's food is the best.

Noosa High Tea by the River – 3.30pm
Join the master of sweet things – Adriano Zumbo, Eric Pernoud and Matt Major for an afternoon delight of pastries and tasmanian sparkling wine by the River.

Seafood Feast on the Beach - 12pm
Enjoy the best seafood feast in the country whilst sitting in the barefoot beach marquee on Noosa's Main Beach

Qantas Premier International Degustation – 6.15pm  Berardos on the Beach
A dinner date with the World's Best Chefs  at the Qantas Premier International Degustation.  Join the S.Pellegrino Worlds Best Chefs along with Australia's celebrity chefs for a eight course degustation with matching wines.

Sunday 19th May – Food, Wine and Entertainment
