Adopt a Digger Exhibition

On ANZAC DAY, Saturday 25th, after the ANZAC Service in the Buderim State School grounds, why not head down to the Buderim Memorial Hall (on the corner opposite the school) and enjoy the

Adopt a Digger display and also  listen to some rousing tunes associated with the  WW I era

Starting at 12 noon, the very popular Sunshine Brass band will entertain, followed by an  ANZAC TRIBUTE CONCERT, which will showcase some of the wonderful wartime songs.

Songs such as "Oh, how I hate to get up in the morning", "Coming in on a wing and a prayer" "Anchors Away", "Roses of Picardy" and "Keep the home fires burning",  and even the costumed

performance of "When the Sgt. Major's on Parade" will be presented.

Local singers Bev Gourlay and Aart Schouten, will also encourage the audience to singalong to some favourite songs.  They will be joined by other artists, including  Christina Hanley playing her accordion and also her harp.

The magnificent  Adopt a Digger  Exhibition,  with the added bonus of appropriate Talks and a Tribute Concert  on Saturday 25th,  is FREE.

It will be well worth a look and a listen!
