International Women's Day is the global day connecting all women around the world and inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
The Queensland Government's theme for International Women's Day 2007 is: 'Women at work: Know your rights, it's your future'
The theme encourages women to be proactive in gaining knowledge about their workplace rights, protecting fair standards and practices and improving the status of women in the workplace.
The j will be celebrating International Women's Day March 8, with a free dance experience Afrofusion and a free seminar delivering valuable advice about home based business.

Feel Grounded, Energized, Have Fun, Develop Rhythm, Isolations, Lots of Laughs and Dance, Dance, Dance. South African born Anthea will share her unique style, which she calls Afrofusion.

Small business field officer Kay Strong from Sunshine Coast Area Consultative Committee and Guest Speaker Leigh Rachow Principal, founder of the Sunshine Coast Business Academy and the Managing Director of Business Training Consultants Pty Ltd will facilitate a seminar on how to foster a home-based business.
Kay engages her audience with INVALUABLE and RELEVANT advice … sharing her business and life experiences, her CAN-DO attitude coupled with sharing her experiences will ensure you will discover the who, what, where, how and why of home based businesses.
