Queensland Ballet is proud to return to Noosa Long Weekend Festival and present an exciting program of dance to festival audiences.
The program will include both contemporary and neo classical ballets performed by Queensland Ballet’s Jette Parker Young Artists and also Company Dancers.
Young Artists will perform Amy Hollingsworth’s emotionally-charged and visceral, Cadence Interrupted, a high energy contemporary work about connection.
Company Dancers will perform the first and last movement from Ben Stevenson’s Three Preludes as well as a new ballet choreographed by Queensland Ballet’s Greg Horsman entitled Back to Bach, a neo classical work. Together with a fascinating conversation with Queensland Ballet Artistic Director Li Cunxin.
Queensland Ballet is a vibrant company offering a program of world-class classical ballets and inspired contemporary dance works.
Their 2015 performances sold out in record time, and we urge you to secure your tickets early as this is a must see Festival event.
