Anne-Marie Jones has been invited back to exhibit at Madisson's Restaurant due to an unprecedented response to her art. Anne-Marie's works are a celebration of the Noosa River and Beach. They are bright, happy and ready to delight those who appreciate the carefree lifestyle and atmosphere that Noosa offers. Some of the living Noosa icons (aka "Hey Bill" and his cart; Chris de Aboitiz, his dog and paddle board) continue to feature in her paintings. Add the pelicans, the Noosa Ferry, First Point and the picture is complete. One of the new pieces created especially for this exhibition.
Looks at the Noosa River from inside Madisson's. It features a Saxophonist to highlight the fact that Madisson's is one of the appointed venues for the Jazz Festival. It is also recognition of its accolade for winning the 2008 Restaurant & Catering Award for Excellence in the Entertainment Section.
Anne-Marie says she loves exhibiting at Madisson's because the view of the river through to the sea reminds her of why she came to live in Noosa in the first place 10 years ago. The colours are reminiscent of her birthplace, the Seychelles Islands. Everyone is welcome to view this exhibition that brings the Noosa River and Beach inside the restaurant. All works are for sale and 10% of proceeds will go to the local branch of the Blue Nurses. The Exhibition is open from the 17th August 2008 at Madisson's, 271 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.
