The aim of the Connect to Your Creek Week initiative is for all residents to form a connection with their local waterways and, in turn, the motivation to value and care about them.
From an educational boat trip along Pumicestone Passage or Maroochy River to kayaking up Currimundi Lake, the exciting program of events and activities will enable people of all ages and interests to actively engage with their local waterways through enjoying a variety of different recreational, cultural and educational experiences.

Annie Hehir Environmental Reserve is a 45 hectare parcel of land acquired through the Environmental Levy Land Acquisition program. This reserve was acquired for its high biodiversity values. It contains endangered and of concern remnant vegetation.
