Enchanting program of Short Films

Celebrating joy, compassion and boundless imagination, The Noosa Longweekend in conjunction with the Noosa Film Society and Paradigm presents an enchanting 90 minute program of short films.

The international selection of films includes the multiple award winning New Zealand film, The Six Dollar Fifty Man, winner of the Jury Prize at Sundance Film
Festival and overall winner of this year’s Heart of Gold International Film Festival and the Australian film The Love Song of Iskra Pufrock, nominated Best Short Film at the 2010 AFI Awards.

Another Heart of Gold award winner, and lasting a brief six minutes, with no dialogue, the charming German animation, Mobile, is a delight.
Curator Malcolm Blaylock has successfully directed the St Kilda Film Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

As a past member of the international jury panel  for the Bilbao Film Festival in Spain and Interfilm Berlin, Malcolm has selected a diverse range of short films that are guaranteed to transport you across Australia and around the world.
