CALOUNDRA FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH INC.  General meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Guide Hut, Arthur Street, Caloundra from 1.30 pm. Guest speaker at the meeting on 20th April will be Jan Veacock a member of Queensland Family History Society. Jan is an authority on Qld cemeteries.
On Saturday 22nd April from 1 pm to 4 pm.  CFHR Inc. will be hosting a seminar to be presented  by historian Dr. Jennifer Harrison PhD, DipFHS, FRHSQ. Dr. Harrison will present her very popular "Days of Our Lives" - recording ourselves within our family history and "Lost Relations" - convicts and  migrants (questions for possible solutions to finding those you cannot take any further are invited to be submitted to CHFR President Eunice a week before the seminar). 
CFHR Inc. will also be holding a series of Beginner lessons on Thursdays 20th and 27th April and 4th May  from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon.  These lessons will be conducted by an experienced member of the Group who will show you how to experience the joy of genealogy in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The Group invites all  those interested in family history to join them at any time.  They will be assured of a very warm welcome.
