Expect carves, punts and shacks aplenty from Queensland's new breed of up and coming grommets when the Brothers Neilsen Junior Surf Challenge hits the streets of the Sunshine Coast in October.
Maroochydore's punchy beach breaks will provide the ideal arena with advanced and intermediate surfers fighting it for titles out across nine separate divisions.
The main contest site is Maroochydore Beach, however the contest is mobile from Alexandra Headlands to Peregian Beach.
Open from 0800 to 1600 daily.
Date: From 01 Oct 07 To 05 Oct 07

If you think you have what it takes to boost, punt, hack, cutback and float to glory OR if you just want to have
a taste of competition then get your entry in fast!
This event is run by the second chance Surfing Australia format and guarantees all surfers at least two surfs.
The Under 18 and Under 16 Divisions will be broken up into advanced and intermediate/beginner.
So if you have just started surfing don't worry, all surfers who surfed in the Quiksilver Jnr Series are
automatically in the advanced division. The event acts as a fantastic introductory competition for those who have
not competed before or very little and also an elite event for those who have extensive surfing events experience.
