Buddhism for Beginners is a gentle introductory course that presents the basic principles of Buddhism from the Tibetan Buddhist perspective. It covers an overview of the Buddha’s life and teachings, a brief history of Buddhism and a discussion of the various types of Buddhism that are practiced today. The course will explain what it means to be a Buddhist and how the philosophy can help you lead a happier, more peaceful life.
There will also be an opportunity to learn and practice some basic meditation techniques. So if you have ever asked yourself what Buddhists believe, or whether Buddhism is relevant in your life, this course is a great start!
