The Buderim Male Choir will hold a free concert on Sunday 30 March at 2pm at the Buderim War Memorial Hall, King Street, Buderim to celebrate 40 years of music. The Buderim Male Choir was established in 1974 and is the longest continually serving choir on the Sunshine Coast.
Member for Buderim Steve Dickson will open the concert which will also see the official launch of the 2014 “Morning Melodies” Program. Mr Dickson said, “The Buderim Male Choir is a great asset to our community and performs throughout the year for community groups and to raise money for local charities.”
The Sunday Gala performance will contain many of the choir’s most popular pieces and will also feature guest artists “Rhapsody” – a new female vocal ensemble.
Buderim Male Choir Musical Director Paul Coppens will announce the schedule of the new concert series that will be held bi-monthly on the first Thursday morning of the month from 10am. More information at www.buderimmalechoir.org.au
