The Urban Country Music Festival brings you 4 days of non-stop fun and entertainment this May long weekend
Bush Poets
When:  Right across the festival weekend
Bush Poets Breakfasts
The smell of a traditional bush breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon and tomato will waft from the Historical Village and will welcome Bush Poet enthusiasts.
When:  Saturday 5, Sunday 6 and Monday 7 May 2007
Time:  Breakfast from 7.00am
Bush Poets from 7.30am - 9.45am followed by a
Meet the Poets session until 10.00am
Stanmore Hall, Caboolture Historical Village
Beerburrum Road, Caboolture.
- Adults - $10.00 per person
- Children - $6.00 per child (aged 10 years and under)

Entry to the Historical Village: - $8.80 per person (concession prices are available. For more information please contact the Historical Village)
Please come early to guarantee a seat as a limited number of spaces are available. To secure your place at the breakfasts, contact the Caboolture Historical Society on 07 5495 4581.
Start with sumptuous, rib-sticking tucker, then some food for the soul with comic poetry from Wally (The Bear) Finch, Mark Feldman and Mary Finch supported by a crazy crew of selected local poets.
After enjoying the entertainment of the Bush Poets at breakfast, take the time to browse the Village which boasts over 50 buildings of historical significance on a 4 hectare site. The buildings are furnished with thousands of donated items. Added features are: miniature train, licensed bush pub and wagon rides. Specialty shops in the village include - carpenter, craft, herb and potted plants and much more.

Bush Poets Corner
Just after 11.00am each day, take the shuttle bus to the Town Square, spread out your blanket and settle back for some lively entertainment at Bush Poets Corner.
When:  Saturday 5, Sunday 6 and Monday 7 May 2007
Time:  11.30am - 1.30pm
Caboolture Town Square
Local Bush Poets will fascinate you with Australian verse and rhyme, telling stories of days gone by and days to come. Open Microphone  - walk up poets welcome.
Bush Poetry Competition
Bush Poetry is defined as Poetry with good Rhyme and Metre written by an Australian and/or about Australians, Australia - its places, or things.
When:  Sunday 6 May 2007
$5.00 Adults (for entrants 15 years of age and over on 1 May 2007)
FREE Children (for entrants 14 years of age or less on 1 May 2007)
People of all ages are encouraged to join this competition. The competition is open to interstate and international people who have a love of Australia, the people and the way of life.
Winners of the competition will be asked to read their poems at the Sunday Bush Poetry Breakfast, held at the Caboolture Historical Village.
Entries close Friday 20 April 2007.
PLUS plenty of food, drinks, art workshops, kids rides, busking and entertainment all weekend!
