In order to compete in national and international markets many organisations are now enjoying the benefits of being part of formal collaborative business arrangements.
On a large scale these are called Industry or Regional Clusters; on a small scale they are called Business Networks. Many networks and clusters compete successfully in markets previously too big for any one of the individual participants.
Regional and Industry Clusters bring together individual organisations from a particular geographical location. Benefits through networking between members of the clusters include:
· Growing business opportunities
· Developing members' capabilities
· Collaborative access to support from Government
· A strategic partner with government and other regional development organisations
· A voice for the region representing a wide cross section of the industry
· Effectively addressing skills shortages issues
Business Maroochy would like to explore the possibility of establishing a Network based around businesses in Kunda Park, Sippy Downs, Forest Glen and Buderim. To progress this concept and also provide you with an opportunity to meet other businesses from the region, Business Maroochy, with the kind support of Trevor Brown of Advance Metal Turning in Yandina, extend an invitation for you to attend an informal meeting:
