Peregian Village opens for business
The recent works at Peregian Beach represent stage two in the village transformation totalling $2.1M, including wider pathways, new drainage, grass and landscaping that enhance the green leafy feel of the village.
"The work has opened up the streetscape to the beach, increased the area of parkland, increased the amount of landscaping down the spine of the village and given the area a much needed spruce-up," said Noosa Shire Councillor Russell Green.
"The design has kept the green leafy feel of the village square but also includes an architect-designed activity platform and specially designed wooden and metal furniture that reflect the history and the story of Peregian Village," said Councillor Frank Wilkie.
Council invite you to take part in the launch with cutting of the cake at 10:35am.
