No matter who we are, or what situation we find ourselves in, we all have the ability to be happy and fulfilled. We need only cultivate the positive habits that lead to happiness. In this weekend workshop, Miffi Maxmillion introduces us to the key principles of Buddhist psychology - which provides an amazing set of practical strategies that show us exactly how happiness and mental health are achievable for everyone.
The course includes teachings, short guided reflections, selected readings, worksheets for home, and time for questions. We will learn how to cultivate positive ways to communicate with and treat others, and how to develop the constructive states of mind that support happiness. We also focus on practical techniques to break negative habit patterns and stop destructive behaviour. This is a very popular program that can become a life-changing experience. The techniques are not just for Buddhists.
They are universal and can be easily adapted to any tradition. All welcome! Miffi Maxmillion runs the spiritual program at Langri Tangpa Centre in Brisbane where she leads beginner’s classes. Miffi was brought up as a Buddhist and had the great good fortune to play with Lama Yeshe as a child, and his hook of compassion sustained her through the many rebellious stages of growing up.
