Presented by the Bli Bli On Maroochy Historical Society with the support of the Sunshine Coast Council's Maroochydore Library, Cultural Heritage and Heritage Library teams.

Let's discover and rediscover Sugar, Sports, Schooldays and Surf heritage along the Maroochy River and its beaches featuring natural landscapes, river trade, schooldays, sporting life, holidays and the people who migrated and contributed to the Sunshine Coast's growth.

The 1-day Popup Museum showcases the glass plate negatives, photographs, colour slides, movies and documents and memorabilia that support the real-life stories handed down through the generations of told by locals. Ask our local historians about our vibrant and diverse coastal heritage.

The event is part of the 2016 National Trust Heritage Festival with the theme of "Discover and Rediscover" local heritage. Tour guides will be available on the day to talk about local history.
