James Morrison the Jazz legend, along with brother John 'the Mayor of Swing City' are set to lift the tempo in what is shaping up to be a sensational weekend, at the annual Dingo Creek Wine, Jazz and Blues Festival fundraiser, for SIDS and Kids Qld. john is quoted as saying "this is one of the most fun festivals we have ever done" Many other renowned musicians will also be performing over the weekend including  Delilah, Mark Rivett,  Willy Qua, Gill Askey, Glen Walton Trio, Clive Moorehead, Helen Russel, Paul Williams, Barry Sutton, John Nicol, Police Band of Blue, Detachment of the Royal Australian naval Band and blues performer Mason Rack.
Dingo Creek Vineyard will rock at Traveston, north west of Noosa on the 3rd and 4th of June 2006. Booking early is highly recommended for a weekend of great Wine, Jazz and Blues, Free BYO Camping is available toilet and shower facilities will be provided.
The main stage will be operating over the weekend under cover for your all weather comfort and there will be full catering available, this is a weekend not to be missed by all music lovers.
Prepare for a great weekend of camping and self- indulgence, self-drive to the venue where ample parking is available.
Accommodation is also available in nearby B&B's and the local towns of Gympie and Noosa have motel, resort - style and caravan park accommodation. This is a no glass, no BYO alcohol venue, alcohol will be sold at the venue. Tickets to this event make a great Easter gift.
Marg Gillespie, President of Dingo Creek Jazz and Blues Inc is thrilled with the way the event has come together, Marg said Last years festival created enormous interest in Queensland and interstate. It is a great chance for people to escape to the hinterland and unwind for the weekend while listening to the some of the best musicians Australia has to offer and sampling fine wine and food and supporting a great cause in SIDS and Kids Qld.
