Kin Kin Community Development Group Member14th November 2005  Discover Kin Kin brochure launch

Kin Kin Community Development Group, in conjunction with Tourism Noosa will be launching the DISCOVER KIN KIN brochure at Main Street Kin Kin, 3.30pm Friday the 2nd December 2005.  The launch will be officiated by the Mayor of Noosa Shire, Mr. Bob Abbot.  Kin Kin was once a thriving town supporting many enterprises such as a large timber business, dairy farms, bananas, small crops, butter factory and much more.   The launch of this brochure will stimulate the local community and economy through increased awareness of the Kin Kin District.

The DISCOVER KIN KIN brochure highlights the uniqueness of the district showcasing the diversity of accommodation, art galleries, places to eat, renowned health retreats, specialised producers, Noosa Trail Network, history and Kin Kin's creative spirit.  Previously these products and services have remained relatively unknown to those outside the district.  For the first time ever a detailed map of the Kin Kin district will be available to the public, thanks to Noosa Shire Council.

This is a community initiative of the Kin Kin Community Development Group, project co-ordinated by Gerry Bourke and sponsored by Tourism Noosa, Living Valley Springs, Noosa Tracks and Trails, Kin Kin General Store, Kin Kin Springs Estate, Hinterland Voice and Clovely Estate Ltd - Queensland's largest winery.
