The year's most anticipated event at Wallace House, the Oils and Acrylics Exhibition will once again see the walls of the Gallery set with very selective paintings by the group. Each exhibiting artists brings the depth of their experience to highlight their palette and preferred subject matter. It promises to be one of the best shows the group has organised to date.
Gina Barclay will exhibit delightful works influenced by her travels through Italy. Rose Barry is specialising in floral works after a very successful workshop with Internationally renowned Artist, Lyn Diffenbach. Roger Hunt and Robert Harman will feature their masterful portraits. Others featuring in the exhibition are Jane Gram who completes excellent impressionist finger paintings in one sitting. Anne-Marie Jones will show some of her zany new "Noosa Scapes" including "Budgie Smuggler on Noosa Beach".
To add spice to our exhibition, there will be works by our youngest member and very talented figurative artist, Kirra-Lea Caynes . Works feature contemporary modern as well as traditional styles. All canvases will be for sale at very reasonable prices.
The Exhibition will open at Wallace House on Friday 23rd of July at 5.30 pm with the opening address by Narelle Cooper from The Cooper Gallery on Gympie Terrace. Refreshments will be provided with entry by gold coin donation. The
