Evenbreak and the Cypha present: 'HipHop Wars'
MUPH & PLUTONIC (one of Australia's Top Hip Hop Groups - MELBOURNE)
Muph & Plutonic's recent achievements have helped propel them into the echelons of Australian Hip-Hop and they're now seen as one of this country's best live Hip-Hop acts. With their tight and energetic shows, Muph & Plutonic have toured extensively across Australia. There is nothing like the slamming beats and fresh sounds of Plutonic on drums, teamed up with the honest lyrics of Muph. The extent of their crowd's smirking and screaming for more has surpassed even their own expectations.
As an MC, Muph is often labeled as "Australia's most honest MC" and has recently been working on numerous guest feature projects with 'Hilltop Hoods', 'Mystro and Hermitude'.
Being one of the most revered producers in Australian Hip-Hop and dubbed "the one man band" by media, Plutonic Lab needs no introduction to music lovers. He has produced for numerous international and Australian acts and has had tracks on over 16 albums/compilations on a variety of labels.
THE EDUCATOR (from The Winnie Coopers - GOLD COAST)
Even in their short history, The Winnie Coopers have some prize scalps to their name. These dweebs won Triple J's Hip Hop Show's competition to support U.S. crew 'Ugly Duckling', which in turn led to the track "Success" being placed on high rotation not only on Triple J. The Winnie Coopers have shared the stage with the likes of Resin Dogs, Xavier Rudd, TZU, Bliss 'n' Eso, Regurgitator, Butterfingers, Koolism, Good Buddha and played international support for De La Soul and Ugly Duckling.
REVEL8 (Wildman MC from Bundy)
From humble evenings, freestyling in Brisbane's Valley Mall and playing high school shows to 20 odd adolescents, through to performing to 4,000 strong crowds at Sleeman's Sports Complex supporting 'Old Man River', 'Angela's Dish' and 'The Winnie Coopers', Revel8 has weathered the storms of adversity over the last 3 years & come up trumps. From pen to paper and from practice to platform this is one Aussie wordsmith is sure to be convertin' more than only a handful of hip hop virgins!!
