The good news at tax return time in Noosa is that the Library at Wallace Park has trained volunteers available to help low income earners, free of charge, with the preparation of tax returns.
Manager of Library Services Kerri Contini says the annual free tax help programme will start again on Monday, July 10th at the Library in Wallace Park, off the Gibson Road/Eumundi Road roundabout in Noosaville.
"The service is designed to assist those earning under $35,000 a year," explained Ms Contini.  "Our volunteers have been trained by the Australian Taxation Office to help people with ordinary tax returns.
"The service is made available through a partnership between Noosa Library and the Tax Office and as it is a very popular one, people should book early to avoid disappointment.  They may do so by 'phoning the Library on 5442 4411."
