If you’ve ever wanted to try zumba or belly dancing, have your photo taken with a rally car, check out the local sports teams, enjoy some food tasting and fabulous live music, and meet a few dignitaries along the way then Endeavour Foundation’s huge Community Fun Day in Caboolture is the place to go.

Endeavour Foundation is celebrating its 60th anniversary and this massive free day of entertainment at Centenary Lakes, Caboolture on Friday 24th June (10am – 2pm) is a ‘thank you’ to the local communities from Lawnton to Noosa and everywhere in between for such fantastic support.

Local radio station 101.5 FM will be broadcasting live from Centenary Lakes and everyone is welcome to take part in the many events, enjoy the food from Kingaroy Kitchens, watch the sport, listen to the band Cascade perform live, and grab a snag from the sausage sizzle (gold coin donation).

Dignitaries include Moreton Bay Regional Council Deputy Mayor, Greg Chippendale, State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP, and Endeavour Foundation CEO, David Barbagallo.

Endeavour Foundation’s 60th birthday on 14th June was celebrated with the launch of its official history book entitled An Ordinary Life...the First 60 Years of Endeavour Foundation by Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AC, Governor of Queensland, at Government House in Brisbane.

This event in Caboolture is the latest in a number of events which celebrate the 60th anniversary, and also thank the local communities for their support while showcasing Endeavour Foundation and how it supports people with a disability to lead an ordinary life.

Endeavour Foundation supports more than 3,350 people with a disability from more than 230 locations throughout Queensland and in Sydney.
It offers support to hundreds of people with a disability in the Sunshine Coast region through learning and lifestyle opportunities, employment, education and training, accommodation, and respite services.
