Through the interest of Permaculture Noosa members to learn about grafting, Tina Grigson from Mountain Views Nursery, was approached at the Yandina Markets (where she and Michael sell their grafted fruit trees) and asked if she was interested in teaching us. As she is keen to share her knowledge and educate people, she accepted and has offered her time and expertise at no cost, for which, we are very grateful!
Mel Hobbins is a PCN member with a passion for growing food! His citrus orchard produces abundant fruit of many varieties, which he generously shares with fellow members and the local community. He has invited participants to tour the property after the completion of the workshop to take in the Orchard, Veggie Gardens, Food Forest Style, 12 varieties of snake bean and much more. Appropriate footwear is recommended.
