The Noosa Parks Association  - Weekly Diary
Friday 10th February  to Thursday 16th February inclusive.
The natural environment of the Noosa District is its most valuable asset.  Support its protection so you may continue to enjoy it.  Learn more about it at the Noosa Parks Association's  Environment Centre,  Wallace Park,  Noosaville.

Friday 10th February
8.30 am - Interpretive Birding at Wallace Park with Valda McLean.
10.15 am - Morning Tea.
10.30 am- Reports of local flora and fauna
11.00 am- Discussion on matters of local environmental interest or concern
11.15 am- Environment Forum - Natural History of Britain (and Noosa). Video and local information - Stephanie Haslam
1.00 pm  - Wallace Park Bushland Care Group

Sunday 12th Feb.- Greening Noosa 9.00 am Noosa Spit - NPA Park -(western section): weed control and pruning. Hat, sunscreen and protective footwear are recommended.  Gloves and tools are provided. Will finish at midday with a barbeque and cofee/billy tea.

For additional information visit the Environment Centre, between 10 00 am and 2.00 pm each weekday, or phone on 5474 2486. The centre is staffed by volunteers for the public's information and enjoyment.
