Sunshine Coast Regional Council to hold first public meeting next Thursday
What: The first meeting of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
When: 10am (doors open 9.30am), Thursday, April 3, 2008.
Where: The Innovation Centre, University of the Sunshine Coast.
Inaugural meeting to herald new era for local government
The first public meeting of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council will be held next Thursday (April 3) at the Innovation Centre at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
The inaugural meeting will begin with a traditional welcome before Mayor Bob Abbot and twelve newly-elected councillors take their oath of office.
The Mayor will then make a welcome speech and each of the councillors will be invited to address the meeting.
