This month's Open Day will be combined with International Sangha Day Celebrations and is an opportunity for you to chat to the monks and nuns, ask any questions you may have, learn more about who makes up the ordained community both here and throughout the world and to access information about why the Sangha exist and what their function is.

After the Guided Meditation and Tour, make your way up to the grassy area between the Prayer Wheels where you will find stalls and information kiosks, opportunities to donate towards monastic groups from around the world and enjoy a delicious vegetarian sausage sizzle under a canopy of colourful prayer flags with Chenrezig Institute's ordained community.

After Lunch any kids may join Dharma Club and learn about compassionate, kind play or accompany their parents to the Gompa for a public talk with one of our Tibetan Lamas on the 'Monastic Tradition'.

Cakes, chai and coffee will be available for purchase from the cafe and the BBQ and Salads will be by donation with any profit going towards supporting monastic communities.

Lose yourself in the amazing Garden of Enlightenment, with its beautiful grounds and golden buddhas and spend some time exploring our library, shop and temple.
