23/09/09 Learn to Sail @ Lake cootharaba sailing club in the school holidays
The photo is from Sunday just gone at the learn to sail that is run on Sunday every weekend during the sailing the season. Instructor Mia Hacker has great fun teaching Elsa, Peter H & Peter R the finer details of how to sail a boat. So if you are a family with kids or just a single adult come on down to the Lake on Friday and Saturday. The friendly atmosphere is just great.
You will learn things from how to tie a bowline " make a loop, the bunny comes out of his hole, runs around the tree and goes back in his hole." to parts of the boat , how to rig a boat, how tack and gybe, how to balance your boat with your body, how to sail around a course with markers. See you at the Lake Mate!
