Island moonwalking

Residents and visitors can enjoy a different side of Kawana Island with a moonwalk on Monday night.

Part of Caloundra City Council's out there and active initiative, moonwalks have been a popular event throughout the City.

Moonwalking is an extension of the City's highly successful Just Walk It program, which is sponsored and supported by both the Heart Foundation and Sport and Recreation Queensland.

The next Moonwalk will take place at Kawana Island on Monday September 19, 2005. Anyone interested in taking part should meet at Double Bay Beach Park platform, Grand Parade, Kawana Island at 7.30pm. The cost is free.
