JACKI WEAVER AND MAX GILLIES RETURN IN
RED HOT RENDEZVOUS!
HIT Productions proudly presents Last of the Red Hot Lovers 2004
Jacki Weaver in her 2003 Sydney Critics' Outstanding Actress awarded triple role and the brilliant Max Gillies are reunited in the acclaimed Neil Simon comedy, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, the box office smash hit tour of 2003. Jacki and Max are set to raise the roof in venues across Australia with the riotous combination of their comedic gifts.
Following the very successful production at the Nambour Civic Centre in 2003, Last of the Red Hot Lovers will be performed once again at the Centre on Tuesday 1st June at 8pm.
The Story So Far…Barney (Max Gillies) is a 47 year old facing the terrible midlife dilemma of a happy marriage and possible death without dishonour! Desperate for the love of, well, any other woman, Barney's attempts at adultery lead to three extraordinary encounters with three red hot ladies all played by Jacki. The combination of Jacki and Max, two of our legendary talents, with acclaimed writer Neil Simon and leading Australian theatrical touring company HIT Productions, make for an exceptional night of love and laughter in the theatre!
Director Jennifer Hagan (Collected Stories), Set and Costume Designer Judith Cobb and Lighting Designer Rachel Burke, return as the outstanding creative team for this smash hit show, proudly presented by Christine Harris and HIT Productions, the company who brought you Girl Talk, Love Child and Wallflowering, amongst many others.
Bookings can be made in person at the Nambour Civic Centre or phone Maroochy Venues & Events on 5475 7777.
