'Ladies Night' is a play that inspired the film 'The Full Monty' - the story of five unemployed blokes, motivated by 'The Chippendales' to form a male stripping act in order to get some quick money, and there is plenty of encouragement from the female audience.
Written in 1987 by New Zealanders Anthony McCarten and Stephen Sinclair, Ladies Night has been translated into twelve languages and is New Zealand's most commercially successful play with eight sell-out tours of Britain and the U.K.
In 2001 it won France's premiere theatre award for comedy - The Moliere Prize.
