Adult Learners' Week

Parents as First Teachers: a learning taster with morning tea. Librarians provide parents and carers with an introduction to a range of practical strategies for early literacy development. Special Guests: Angela Andrews and Chris Pelly authors and advocates for child safety in the community.
6, 7, 8th September, 9.30-11am - ABC Absolute Beginners Computing. A taste of computer skills basics for absolute beginners. Bookings Essential.
7 September, 10am - Learn how to become a Volunteer Tutor for Literacy/Numeracy Program. Limited Spaces....book now.

Lab on Legs - CSIRO Science Centre presents an interactive forensic science program we call "Crime Busters".
What's on in October? New sessions of the popular Babes in Arms and Toddler Tales - introducing early literacy in the home. Both programs run for 4 weeks, starting at 10am for about 30 minutes -Thursday 6th - 27th October (Toddler Tales) and Friday 7th - 28th October (Babes in Arms).
