New term, new opportunities at Learning Co-op
Interested in taking a short course in art, craft, computers, general studies, health and fitness, languages or personal development?
Caloundra City Mayor Don Aldous said Caloundra City Libraries will be taking enrolments for a diverse range of courses being offered by the Learning Co operative starting next Thursday 19 July.
"The Learning Co-operative is an innovative extension program of the Library service and offers courses in a wide range of subjects including knitting and crochet for beginners; scrap booking; computers; music; cooking; languages and life coaching to name a few," Cr Aldous said.
"Running since 1991, it continues to be an outstanding success thanks to the many volunteers who expend enormous effort and time to share their knowledge and expertise."
Enrolments are open at the Caloundra Central Library until Friday 27 July for the third term, with most classes commencing week beginning Monday 6 August.
Tuition fees are $30 and must be paid upon enrolment. Most classes are for one session per week, for six weeks.
Late enrolments will only be accepted at the Learning Co-operative, 60 George Street, Caloundra.
