Nutworks Supports Local Businesses with LOCALS DAY!

Locals Day at Nutworks Macadamia Factory in Yandina is here again!

Retail manager Nicole Keoghan said people visit Nutworks looking for local products and unique gifts.
“Our Locals Day has been running on the last Saturday of every month since March and continues to grow in suppliers and customers,” she said.  Not only is our Nutworks Macadamia Factory and retail shop full of unique nut and chocolate products and factory bargains, we showcase other local businesses where you can meet the maker and trial their products! For Locals Day in September if you spend over $40.00 in the retail shop you receive 10% off!”

Nutworks is excited to introduce a new supplier showcasing her products at this month’s Locals Day, Dale from Coolamon Food Creations. Engage all your senses of sight, sound, taste, smell and delicious tastes as Aboriginal celebrated chef Dale Chapman takes you on a cultural journey inspired by her passion for bush tucker and her belief that traditional food is an effective weapon in the fight against heart disease and diabetes. Dale will demonstrate how to use her Coolamon Food Creations range of sauces jams and spices to create eclectic fusion cuisine that can transform a simple and quick meal into a gourmet experience.  It will be fun, educational and the food will taste sensational.

OTHER LOCALS DAY GUESTS – Saturday 26 September, 10am- 2pm
To celebrate the kids on School Holidays Nutworks will be handing out free taste tests of Mammino homemade ice-cream range.
Rachel from Native Nut- Rachel is passionate about Australia’s native nut, the macadamia. Macadamia oil is used as the foundation of their hand made liquid soap.
They take macadamia oil, mix it with a touch of coconut and olive oil and turn it into soap, then they fragrance with 100% pure essential oils.  It’s as simple as that and it’s as natural as soap can get.
Wes from Zesty Fresh- Lemon Myrtle Soap is a product that we feel represents the beautiful sub-tropical Queensland rainforest and climate that we appreciate every day. The aroma is so stimulating to the senses that we can't help but feel refreshed when we smell it and use it to start our day.

Four Cow Farm- Lovingly hand crafted baby skincare, made with 100% natural and organic ingredients from scratch right on our 100% green energy family farm.

Jeff Fraser: Wood Turner & Artist - Jeff creates handmade, unique, beautiful wood made products.

If you haven’t popped into Nutworks lately, call in and support the locals!
