Sunshine Coast Council hosts National Year of Reading Ambassador Tania McCartney at Maroochydore Library on Saturday 24 March for a session of fun and entertainment for kids that will make learning history cool.

Kids are invited to come dressed as their favourite Australian character and join Tania McCartney for a trip into the past starting with the explosive beginnings of our planet through to the formation of the modern day.

Tania will read from her book Australian Story: An Illustrated Timeline and take kids through a series of fun, interactive experiences to learn more about our culturally-rich country.

The free session will run from 2pm to 3.30pm.  Bookings are essential and can be made by visiting council’s website or by phoning Maroochydore Library on 5475 8900.
