Calling on local artists to contribute to future Maroochy place making

Visual and performing artists from around the region are invited to attend a bus tour of Maroochy sites identified by Sunshine Coast Council as requiring a public and community art strategy.
Lunch on Chambers Island will be included in the tour.
Key council officers will be available during the tour for questions and discussion.
Attending artists will have an opportunity to express interest in providing art and/or ideas and directions. This register of artists will be used to select and pay artists for further advice, ideas, and project proposals.
The information gathered will assist council to look into the future public art and place making possibilities for these sites and contribute towards the development of the Maroochy River Foreshore Open Space Master Plan art strategy.
