Join presenter Anne Gibson, The Micro Gardener for this fun FREE workshop. You'll pick up a barrow load of tips to help you design your garden using vertical structures to maximise space and increase the harvest from your edible plants.
This workshop is ideal for those involved in community and allotment gardens; people with balconies, verandas and small courtyards; renters; those in retirement homes; or those with small suburban gardens having challenges with growing food.In this hands-on workshop you'll learn: - about the many benefits of vertical gardening; - different kinds of vertical structures you can make and use; - how to choose and grow plants wisely for the space you have; - how to solve common challenges such as growing more food in a small space; improving privacy; creating shade; and maximising sunlight; - which crops you can grow as vertical vegies.
You'll be inspired with simple creative ideas you can put into practice at home and enjoy a tour of the gardens to see ways vertical garden structures can be utilised.
