Mountain Bike Workshop November 21st, 2005
Members of mountain bike organisations, National Parks & Wildlife Rangers, Sport & Recreation Queensland and local government representatives have been invited to join the Noosa Council team at a Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA) workshop to be conducted in early December by International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) trail design and advocacy expert Joey Klein.
Bicycle Advisory Group chair Cr Vivien Griffin says the workshop will be held at Noosa Council's office in Pelican Street, Tewantin on Monday, December 5th from 9.30 am to 12 noon. "Joey Klein will share with participants his knowledge and experience on mountain bike management, advanced trail building and maintenance techniques, conflict resolution and volunteer group mobilisation," explained Cr Griffin.
"Noosa Council staff involved in trail building and maintenance will attend, along with their counterparts from other local Councils.
