Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is presenting a series of family activities from 26 March to 1 April in various forests and national parks.
Ranger Kelly Briese said QPWS encouraged people from the Sunshine Coast to join in and learn more about the natural areas on their doorstep.
"This school holiday break we have something for everyone, at Noosa, Kondalilla Falls and Glass House Mountains national parks and at Kenilworth State Forest," Ms Briese said.
"We will celebrate the Easter holidays by focusing our events on the cultural history of our local area, resident endangered animals, and of course, the bilby!
"We have night walks for the adventurous, wildlife for the curious and special activities for children."
The cost varies depending on the type of activity, from a gold coin donation to $12.50 an adult or $8 a child.
Bookings are essential. For more information or to secure your booking visit the QPWS website: www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks_and_forests or telephone 1300 723 684.
