On a Spring afternoon, what could be more enjoyable than the Sunshine Coast Concert Band performing amongst the beautiful flora of the Maroochy Botanical Gardens.
Music Director is Ken Chadwick OAM, and singers are Alan Winter, Bev Gourlay and Aart Schouten.
A mixture of familiar tunes and songs will be played, to make you feel at "Home among the Gum Trees".
Some Dixie, some Big Band numbers, and Songs from the Musicals will echo through these idyllic gardens - and people can even dance away to the exciting "Can Can" from Orpheus.
This concert is an extension of the Open Garden segment of the very successful Buderim Garden Festival, and music and garden lovers will be assured of a most enjoyable afternoon.
Entry will be $15 "at the garden gate" which includes afternoon tea.
BYO chair or rug, and ALL proceeds are for Bloomhill Cancer Help Inc.
The concert will be adjacent to the Whip Birdwalk area within the Gardens, which are off Tanawha Tourist Drive (Hwy 25) and on Palm Creek Rd, over the bridge after the Tanawha Tennis courts and Golf links.
