Nambour Moonlight Market and all that jazz
Music lovers are in for a treat this month, as Jazzerati get ready to take Nambour by storm at the monthly moonlight markets, April 29 from 5-9pm.
Jazzerati are four of Queensland's most accomplished musicians, who currently hold the number one position on the AMRAP community radio charts.
Playing a dynamic blend of smooth jazz, funk and groove, the band have played alongside many of the greats including Missy Higgins, James Morrison, Grame Lyall and Richie Cole.
Added to that they've supported The Black Sorrows, Van Morrison, Wynton Marsalis and Ronnie Scott as well as many other international artists.
Craig from JAZZERATI said that the band are all really looking forward to performing.
"The main stage is a fantastic performance space and the night market atmosphere is magic," Craig said.
Market Coordinator Helen Langlois said market go-ers are in for such a treat.
"I can't tell you how excited I am that Jazzerati are playing; we've been really lucky, these guys are just amazing and totally inspired" Ms Langlois said.
"They just exude energy - there's going to be dancing for sure on April 29.
"And as always, there's street entertainers, face painting alongside our great range of market stalls selling everything from craft and jewellery to hammocks and beauty products.
"The international cuisine will tempt the most discerning pallet and with a wine bar next to the stage, we really do have it all.
"This month's market is definitely not to be missed, check out JAZZERATI ahead of time at www.jazzerati.com and get your dancing shoes ready for a great night out."
Market go-ers are asked to bring a gold coin donation and a smile to the monthly Nambour Moonlight Markets.
