Wind and wild weather does not dampen New Year's Eve preparations at Boreen Point.
The Lake Cootharaba New Year's Eve Parade workshops started today and will continue tomorrow (Monday 31st ) starting at 10 am -12pm. The workshops are free and all people are welcome to come along and make something to wear, hold, wave in the Children's/adult parade. Parade Meeting point at the sailing club steps at 6pm to begin the parade for about 6.30pm. The theme for this year's parade is anything starting with "M" or "G".
The venue for the evening has been moved into the sailing club. A great line-up of bands including Barry Charles, John Malcolm and other Local musos. Jimmy will be kicking the night off with a special selection for the kids from 7pm. Marimba mayhem will give everyone a chance to be a star.

Thanks to Noosa Council for event funding, Gail Robinson and Mia Hacker for Parade organisation, Gonzo French for the music co-ordination.
