Noosa Climate Action Project Community Workshop

Whether you agree that climate change is caused by man or not, the facts are clear that we are experiencing worrying change and effects.

Did you know that SE Qld has been identified globally as one of two national hotspots for climate change impact?

  •     Why is climate variability & change important to the people and environment of the Noosa Biosphere?
  •     How will it affect your health and lifestyle, local economy and tourism, coastal management, biodiversity?
  •     What can we do to adapt to the higher temperatures, more extreme weather events, less frequent but more intense rainfall?
  •     Who is currently taking action and who would like to be involved in future ?

Share your ideas and concerns with others. Become part of the solution as we explore options to empower the community to adapt to the challenges of living with climate change and climate variability and reduce risks of negative impacts.
