Join us for an inspiring tour around unique farm forestry developments in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. This year we visit a mix of native forest, young and mature plantation and riparian revegetation.
We will see examples of total property management in the early stages of design, mark-out and site preparation. We will see plantations that have been recently thinned and broad scale camphor laurel management.
Drainage infrastructure, dam repair, erosion mitigation and weed management.
We will also visit some beautiful examples of integrated property management where riparian revegetation, rainforest and eucalypt plantation have been integrated with cattle management.
Come along and enjoy the day. Meet fellow farm foresters, landholders and farm forestry staff.
The annual farm forestry bus trip is a popular event and is a great way to see parts of the hinterland that are off the beaten track.
Bring along a hat, covered walking shoes and a water bottle.
For bookings, phone Kaara on (07)54852313 or email email@example.com
