The Noosa Parks Associations weekly diary starts with Interpretive Birding with Bob Carey at the Environment Centre, Wallace Park, Noosaville on Friday, September 21st at 8.30 am. The Environment Forum on local flora and fauna is at 10.30 am.
At 11.15 Jutta Dyrchs-Jansen who has recently returned from Germany, will tell us about 'The Land of a Thousand Ponds' - A Working Biosphere Reserve in East Germany: the Upper Lusatia heath and Pond Region, everyone is welcome to come and hear this interesting talk.
On Sunday 23rd the Cooloola Bushwalkers will walk the Kenilworth State Forest, Booloumba Creek. Tracks-Rock Hopping. Meet at the Environment Centre, Wallace Park at 7.30 am. Call leader Phil Connard 5471 1012 for more information
