Sunshine Coast Libraries Heritage Officer Di Brown will present stories which capture the essence of early holiday makers and their experiences here on the Sunshine Coast.
Hear tales about the early pioneering holiday makers, the Glass House Mountains region as well as the mountaineering feats of a local Beerwah family and their holidaying guests. Learn about the hinterland holidaying experience, how visitors came to the area to enjoy the splendid views, waterfalls and climate whilst staying in the early guesthouses.
Finally, stories about camping holidays along the coast’s beautiful beaches, still popular and enjoyed by many visitors to this region today.
