Handy tips on how to save time and money using the internet will be just one of the popular activities on offer during this year's packed Seniors Week program.
Caloundra City Mayor Don Aldous said seniors will be able to pick up handy tips on how to use the internet for everyday activities such as booking holidays and airfares, online shopping, how to access free learning opportunities, security and much more.
"With internet access available at all of the City's libraries, this is a great opportunity for our seniors to become more familiar with this increasingly popular form of communication," Cr Aldous said.
Prior use of the internet is not necessary, and handouts will be included.
The free courses will be held at the Maleny and Caloundra Libraries at the following times:
Tuesday 23 August 1-2.30pm and 3.30-5pm, Maleny Library
Wednesday 24 August 10-11.30am and 6.30-8pm, Maleny Library
Thursday 25 August 9.30-11am, Caloundra Library.
