Opera Dinner at Flaxton Gardens
6.30pm  Saturday 6th February

"Opera on a Plate!"

Montville-based Opera and Song company OPERATIF! will star in a wonderful evening of Opera at Flaxton Gardens, which re-opened as a stunning restaurant and events centre late last year. The evening, which includes dinner, will be a showcase for the venue as well as for a line-up of stunning performers from OPERATIF!

On arrival, guests will enjoy drinks and canaps on the large open-air terrace which has sweeping views of the Sunshine Coast. Once the sun has set, the party will proceed to the Banquet Hall (the huge former bottling room from Flaxton Gardens' days as a fully functioning winery).

There, seated beneath two huge chandeliers, guests will be treated to an evening of fine dining, paired with thrilling performances from OPERATIF! artists, soprano Jennifer Parish and baritone Stewart Cameron (both Range residents) along with Brisbane-based pianist John Colwill. Special guest, tenor Benjamin Fifita Makisi (the Polynesian Pavarotti!) flies in from Wellington the day before to begin rehearsal for the company's week-long Festival on Norfolk Island.

Places at the Opera Dinner are just $90 and the event is filling fast. Entry covers welcome reception, dinner and entertainment, with a very reasonably priced wine list always available at the venue.

Bookings phone Flaxton Gardens on 54 45 7450
