The next Sunshine Coast Paleo Lifestyle Meetup Group camping trip is here! Join us for 2 nights at the Charlie Moreland campgrounds in the Imbil State Forest, Kenilworth for a weekend of paleo camping fun! The campground is near Little Yabba Creek so feel free to bring your togs, fishing gear, pool noodles etc for some fun in the water. There are no designated tent spots, it's first-in-best-dressed, so we'll arrive early on the Friday to find a good spot. You can then set up camp nearby and we can have a communal chair/fire area.

WHY THIS EVENT? We love camping so we want to create an opportunity for others to spend some time getting back to nature, to relax and unwind, spend time with like-minded people, have some fun outdoors, and eat some good paleo camping tucker of course!

WHAT TO BRING: This is a 100% BYO event, we are not supplying anything, we are just hosting it. So you'll need to bring:
- tent or swag
- chairs
- gas stove
- drinking water
- food and drinks
+ all other usual items like clothes, sun protection, shoes, cooking utencils, plates, cups, lights etc etc

We'll have a gas lantern that is pretty bright for the communal area, but please bring your own lights to use in your tents and at night. Feel free to bring shelter such as a gezebo incase of bad weather or hot days, outdoor games like a footy or soccer ball (we'll have the slackline and a frisbee), pop-up ensuite if you do bring a shower or your own porta-loo. But this is NOT A GLAMPING TRIP so please try and bring minimal gear, to fit in with the 'paleo lifestyle'. There are toilets at the campground but possibly not showers. If there are they'll be cold water. So it's a good idea to bring solar shower bags to fill with creek water, or just don't shower for 2 nights! We always take natural wet wipes to clean ourselves before bed. It's a national park so there's no camp kitchen or even bins. So whatever you take in you must be able to take out again, including all rubbish.

We need to bring our own FIRE WOOD. So let's all chip in for this seeing as we'll be sitting around the one fire pit. If you can't bring any in your car, feel free to give us money and we'll bring some on your behalf. Bags range from $10-$15 ea depending on where from. If you know of, or have, cheap firewood let us know!!

FOOD: It's easier if everyone brings their own food and cooks it themselves, but we're more than happy for you to share around what you have excess of. Please bring paleo-friendly foods. If you're unsure what is good to take to a camping trip just ask, we have lots of suggestions! We're happy to bring a heap of marshmallows to share around to toast on the fire at night, if you guys can chip in a few dollars each to cover ingredients costs and time. Depending on how many people are coming, will work this out closer.

KIDS ARE WELCOME! This is a family-friendly event so bring the tribe, the more the merrier! Or just yourself and/or your partner :) BOOKINGS: You'll need to book in yourselves via the website. Please choose the Imbil State Forest then Charlie Moreland camping area.;jsessionid=WOdZhxk8azveCWoX4CIF5J8YLniRvD9-6V9ngo6Dle_d-T-YkbQU!-318702111 Meetup group event info

COST: $5.95 per person per night All the info about the camp area is here please read it carefully so you know where to go, what to bring, what NOT to bring, etc. If you can only come for 1 night, that's totally fine! Any questions please ask :) Clint and Aimee
