Peter Power's - "A Little Bit Wicked Tour"

Sunday 8th October @ 7:30pm

UK's  Most Outrageous  Hypnotist

In early April 2006 Peter Powers came to Australia to film an 11- week TV Series which is currently airing on the Comedy Channel.

With appearances on The Footy Show and his own Celebrity Superpowers TV Show, and with the TV Specials to be aired this year, Peter Powers is fast becoming a household name in
Australia. Peter's new show "A Little Bit Wicked" tour, is a "must see" show and promises to be an unbelievably outrageous experience.

Radio Stations love to interview Peter Powers as listeners tune in to hear the quirky antics he gets up to when hypnotizing his subjects. One Radio station had their Station Manager hypnotized on the Breakfast Program and he agreed to give his staff a pay rise, with thousands of listeners witnessing this corrupt agreement.  The studio interview on the "Cage" program, Triple M in Sydney during 2005 was so successful that, 2 weeks later, Triple M hired a small Theatre and arranged several celebrities as well as some general public to be hypnotized. The overwhelming success of this was such that Triple M aired this segment in Sydney and Melbourne. But there's no comparison to a live Peter Powers stage show which is the ultimate experience offering ultimate comedy entertainment.

IN 2005 Peter Powers completed a TV special in the UK titled "Street Hypnosis" where he went out on the street and hypnotized subjects with spectacular results. Although the content was somewhat risqué it was highly successful and the special gained the highest TV ratings after airing in UK television across Britain. Peter's TV Specials titled "Celebrity Superpowers" also gained high ratings throughout Australia last year. Peter is currently talking with a major production company to do a series of shows for the US market during 2007.

All this follows the huge success with several appearances on The Footy Show where Peter hypnotised Fatty Vautin and the crew as well as "Celebrity Superpowers" that aired on Channel 9 in November 2003 and July 2004 where he hypnotised an array of Australian celebrities.

Peter's new "a little bit wicked" show promises to be naughty maintaining that unique blend of outrageous humour. His witty, mischievous style of delivery places him amongst the best in the world and the constant packed houses is testimony to his charismatic style and popularity.

Punters can expect up to 2 hours of fun-packed comedy and this new show is not for the faint hearted as Peter delivers his "Adults Only" show wowing Australian audiences. Peter can be described as wicked, naughty and mischievous, and although some routines are adult in nature, it is strictly in good humour.

There is no doubt that Peter Powers is now recognised as the best and most popular Hypnotist in Australia as evidenced by his extremely busy schedule and capacity houses wherever he tours.

The Triple M segments aired nationally and the overwhelming success of these interviews saw Triple M make a  CD special of these segments and aired them nationally resulting in the most requested Triple M segments by listeners.

Powers also holds the record for the World's longest hypnotic sleep. He set this in 1993 when he hypnotized a man in a Liverpool shop window to sleep, on display, for 8 continuous days. This event was televised and broadcast all over the world, including Sky News and ITN's News at Ten, raising much needed money for charity, Oxfam.

He has broken his own record since, when in 1997 at the Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow, he hypnotized a staggering 35 people in one minute, under similar test conditions.

He now claims to have improved his skills further, making him much faster. Maybe he will attempt a new record in the near future.

Peter says touring in Australia is great fun. "Australians really enjoy their entertainment and make superb, often wild, audiences."

So if you're willing to let your hair down and witness a Peter's "little bit wicked" show, take a risk and catch Peter Powers at one of his live shows near you.
