Location: CCSA Hall, Caloundra,
The next Pleasant Sunday Afternoon concert is at 2pm, in the CCSA Hall, Nutley St., Caloundra on August 3rd.
Last month's concert attracted a record crowd, and everyone agreed it was a lot of fun. There was an excellent standard of acts, a lovely afternoon tea, and it was a most enjoyable way to spend a cold wintery afternoon.
The Artists for August are:
the "a capella" group Out of the Blue, and the wonderful Kerry Warner and her Terzetto group from Brisbane.
Helen and Colin Butcher and Julie Marks (who wowed the judges at the recent Eisteddfod with their rendering/rending of a Dixieland song) will perform this and some solos.
Ken O'Flaherty is well known as an Irish style singer/guitarist, comedian and general all round (professional) entertainer.
Ted Bull, a new-comer to the Coast, will sing some ballads.
Other singers are Bev Gourlay and Aart Schouten, with Neil Booth at the piano.
General Admission at the door is $9, and this includes afternoon tea. No bookings are needed.
All Sunshine Coast events, gigs, functions etc... onsite are correct as per information provided at time of uploading, please always verify times or dates directly with the venues to avoid disappointment.
